Ate here Wednesday, 9:30 am, Dec 28th, 2022 and the place was empty. We’d already tried Nury’s (20 minute wait) and Rathskeller (packed and someone said they had no water to wash dishes 😖). The small breakfast menu was mostly Mexican dishes, but American feel-good stuff too. We ordered quickly. Coffee is decent. By 10:45 I had my biscuits and gravy with 2 strips of bacon. Gravy is homemade! Very good. Wife had an omelet loaded with bacon and onion - super good. Place is still empty. The interior of this place is small but quaint with stone walls and wood beams in the ceiling. Seats and tables are well taken care of. As others have said they have a huge courtyard but not this morning it’s a wee-bit chilly. Bill for two plates, two coffees, tip, and an almond cookie to go came to $37.

This is a tucked away gem! Perfect atmosphere and extra friendly staff! Food was fresh and delicious. Was too full of good lunch to have a bakery item but they sure looked good. 😊

We decided to take a break and have a couple drinks to relax especially since there was a band. The band was great!!! The server we had was absolutely sweet and very precise. She always checked up on us. I ordered the chicken wings and I have yo say they were wonderful!! They were crispy and not greasy, not over seasoned. We will definitely be back!!!
